Caption: Toujours de Bellefond mais cette fois en finale sur le monoplace Castel 301 S du Centre. Si mes souvenirs de gamin de 6 et 7 ans sont bons, ce planeur, comme les C-800 de "Pont" était verni marron en un ton jus de goudron ou brou de noix!!!
Always de Bellefond, this time piloting a single seat Castel 301S, a basic glider with rather poor flight qualities. Mr Robert Castello, the father of this plane and other well known french gliders; allied during 1942 to Mr Pierre Mauboussin they created Castel-Mauboussin producing planes and gliders and joined the Fouga society to evolve gliders fitted or not with little Turbomeca jet engines being the precursors of their famous Fouga CM-170 Magister.
