Le Dassault Mirage III RD N° 363 118-AP au roulage avec son bidon de reconnaissance radar à balayage latéral S.L.R. 1 comme vu au début de ce reportage photo. Entre 0 et 6,000 ft il voyait à 5 nautiques de chaque côté. Dans sa forme finale l'unité EMI sera remplacée par un radar RAFAEL enregistrant la mission de l'avion en liaison avec le calculateur du Mirage et de présenter le fim enregistré dès après le vol.

Between 0 and 6,000 ft it was able to see 5 NM each side. In its final form S.L.R. 1 had to use, in place of EMI unit, the RAFAEL radar recording the flight in conjunction with the central computer of Mirage III RD and, immediately after landing, to deliver the whole film record of the mission.
