Le Jaguar E2 118-AC,
second des biplaces français de série, fut utilisé par le CEAM
pour toute la procédure d'intégration à l'Armée de l'Air et d'introduction
du type en unité puis à divers essais d'armements comme ceux
par exemple du missile anti-radar AS 37 Martel prévu pour être
employé par les Jaguars. Lors de cette visite d'octobre 1972 il
n'y avait encore qu'un seul biplace et 3 monoplaces sur les 7
appareils prévus en dotation au CEAM, un de chaque devant encore
arriver avant la fin de l'année.
En 1977 cet avion devint 3-XS avec son versement à l'escadron 3/3

Jaguar E2 118-AC,
the second production French two-seater, was used by CEAM for the
whole procedure necessary to integrate the type in AdlA and then
to introduce it in operational units both in theory and practise
as so as to perform various armament tests with a new missile
type as the anti-radar AS-37 Martel. At the moment of visit to
Mont-de-Marsan, CEAM only owned one two-seater E and three single-seat
As on the scheduled allocation of 7 machines, one of each type
having to arrive before the end of the 1972 year.
During 1977 this E2 machine became 3-XS when put in the inventory
of Fighter Squadron 3/3 Ardennes
