With a two letters code beginning
with a D on fore fuselage section, a natural metal Mirage denoted
its appartenance to CIFAS 328 (Strategic Air Forces Training
Center) in charge of conversion and continuation training to
benefit of FAS Mirage IV Squadrons constituting the air component
of the so called " Force de Frappe" in French language.
Here Mirage III B, C/n 205, just after a touch and go.
CIFAS 328, see API issues devoted to the Istres Air Force and
Test Base, used about 15 two seat Bs, 10 of them being III B RV
being very specific with their nose refuelling probe similar to
that of Mirage IV strategic bomber, the five other Bs being used
for conversion and high speed navigation training needs.
