Mechanic and pilot are doing the pre-flight check of Mirage III E 4-AD, C/n 614, the brand new aircraft received with '615' 4-BT during Summer 1972. Various caps have been removed and aircraft is not plugged to start its ATAR 9C turbojet. This might be done without external power supply but it was better to keep the full battery capacity of the aircraft to re-start engine if it extinguished during flight, this consuming very much of the precious energy.
