Reflecting ground and taxiway
concrete produced deforming warmth vapours at noon hours in this
early day of Augut but I could not resist to take a few pictures
through the wire-netting preventing access to the sensible
territory of the BA 102 Dijon-Longvic base housing the three
Squadrons of 2nd Fighter Wing. Here, coming-back from a sortie,
Mirage III E 2-LB, C/n 403, belongs to EC 3/2 'Alsace' Squadron.
Summer 1972, this third production Mirage III E had already been
used by CEV for tests, by 4th FW as 4-AA and by 2nd FW as 2-EN...
