Three different pictures for a
same aircraft ! Probably I had the hope that with the third
appears what is missing on this tail: the SPA 89 black and yellow
hornet and its white wings as met on aircraft of Fighter Squadron
EC 1/12 'Cambrésis' during the Cambrai Tiger Meet six days
earlier...
12-YC is Dassault Super Mystère B2 C/n 169. It seems that it
never got another code during its life, otherly said it always
remained with the same squadron, and ended operational life when
12th Fighter Wing replaced, during 1977, its SMB2s with Dassault
Mirage F1Cs; the counterpart coded 12-YC was then a second-hand F1
herited as former 30-FC coming from the All Weather Fighter
Squadron 3/30 'Lorraine'...
