CEV used its English Electric
Canberra B.6 at its various establishments: Bretigny near Paris,
Istres for pure CEV purposes as tests of jet engines such as the
Turbomeca Gabizo or for EPNER, the school giving complete
formation to future flying test crew, Mont-de-Marsan for pure
military experiments with active electronic parts or complete
airborne missile etc. and Cazaux for effective armament trials of
new weapons. So you often saw, fixed to Canberras, some fully
classified materials and innocently I did some pictures of things
I had not to know...
Possibly some of you have an idea about the shape under belly,
probably in downed position in the bomb bay?????
