Cazaux also housed strategic Mirage IV As of Bomber Squadron 2/91 " Bretagne ". This unit during WWII was known as Bomber Group GB II/20 Bretagne which was formed on January 1st, 1942 and flew Marauders until becoming GB II/91 with A-26 Invaders and disbanded with the end of war. The name of " Bretagne " a French Province was used again a time by Transport Squadron ET 1/63 flying Nord 2501 Noratlas at Thies, Senegal before re-formation of 2/91 with Mirage IVs on December 1st, 1965. Access to the Mirage area is quite well protected day and night.
