Coming from its Naval Air Base of Landivisiau in French Britanny, Vought F-8E(FN) was temporary based at Cazaux with all the 14F Flotille for a firing campaign. Here "35" has been left by its pilot probably now at debriefing with other chaps having fired their guns this morning of June 1972. I saw quite a ballet of Crusaders being towed from point to others to be refuelled, rearmed and serviced by mechanics and parked before their next cannon practice.
