Caption: On this Hans Redeman second drawing, the Patrouille de France insigna as used from the 1970 season and the blue livery with upper tricolor flying surfaces, a scheme adopted from the 1971 season which lasted until the arrival of the Alpha Jet to replace the ageing but so elegant CM 170 Magisters whose two fathers R. Castello and P. Mauboussin were individually aircraft and glider designers of renown and together pioneers in matter of gliders fitted with light jet-engines in their Fouga manufacture and having as names: Cyclope I to III, Gemeaux I to V and Sylphe I to III.
