Probably complete aircraft was shot on a slide. But this shows the insigna applied on the two sides of this Mirage III E belonging to Squadron 2/13 "Alpes" based at Colmar-Meyenheim, near the German border. Difference between flights' insignas representing Knight Bayard is that first, here, has a red background in circle with bay horse while second flight has a white in circle with black horse. Motto: Youth obliges. C/n 508 corresponds to a freshly delivered machine in 1972.
