The SIAI Marchetti S.210C, though a fine design, probably was not at all attractive relatively to the Cessna 310 with which it a had a resemblance due to its wing tip-tanks. S.210C s later either became 210M or was supplemented with a second prototype modified to a military standard and wearing a camouflaged livery, to be proposed to Italian Military Aviation and export. The plate tells: 6 seats, a 760 Kg load and 330 km/h as cruising speed, range being not readable. I have found a spotting report indicating its participation during Summer 1986 to the 38th Air Tour of Sicilia piloted by Mr Fogliani, this at the military Palermo-Boccafidallo airfield opened to civil aircraft.
