The SOCATA ST 10 Diplomate had been first flown on November 7, 1987 as S.T. 10 Provence and found its origin from the Yves Gardan GY 80 with a redesigned fuselage and a new motorisation. This four seat tourer was fitted with a 200 hp Lycoming I OO-36OC-IB. Production ceased early 1973 after 58 ST 10 had been added to prototype.
