| Though not at all navy
        pilots, sometimes, as extra training for pleasure, Air
        Inter pilots qualifying on Caravelle used the deck-landing
        lights as did Alizé, Etendard, Super Etendard and
        Crusader pilots training at Nîmes-Garons NAS before to
        go and qualify on board of the Clémenceau and Foch
        carriers. All the charm of runway 36 when you landed was
        due to these lights preceding the arrester cable . |
