This day, among Dakotas and other Aéronavale aircraft one of the most beautiful aircraft shapes of the sixties was, as a touring aircraft, an Air Inter Caravelle XII or 12 doing circuits to train and qualify company crews to full ILS automatic landings.
The last of the 280 built Caravelle, a Type 12, was delivered by Sud Aviation/Aérospatiale to Air Inter on March 19, 1973, roughly a year before Air France introduced the A.300 Airbus on itsParis-London service.
