335 during an armament training. Here a "bombinette"
or very small bomb in french, a nut beside 8 Mk.44 or 2 L.4
torpedoes or 16 Mk.54 ASM depth-charges or 16 500 lbs
bombs. But this armament bay might contain four 35O US
gallons auxiliary tanks for very long range or ferry
flights. In the rescue rôle, it could be fitted with 8
SAR sets to be launched around shipwrecked people. You
can see, outside J-34 pylon, the implant areas for four
racks capable to carry light bombs and sixteen 5 inches
HVAR rockets, these latter being then no more fired due
to the ageing structure of aircraft.
