Here 334 at a patrol height of 500 ft during fishing
survey activities; it might or not use its Westinghouse
jet engines... About this, when doing fishing survey at a
height of 1OO feet ( necessary to read registration
number or name on the boats ) , opened shutters permitted
turbines to freely rotate at 1500 revs/min and, if one or
possibly the two radial engines failed, immediate
ignition gave full thrust in the following 20 seconds and
to safely bring-back Neptune at his base... Note that
general size and front section of ventral radar antenna
seems not so important as on the ground where P2V-7 had
an air of Daddy with a dragging belly very close of
tarmac...
