Sometimes things have to be seen to be true: by hazards of fantasy, the 25F flying seamen crew had to leave their very busy OPS installations in a B 26 !!! before climbing in their P2V-7s and go for possible quite busy bombing missions !!!. Here nine of the eleven or twelve men forming crew of 148335 whose failure forced to take , N° 148334, F-XCYD.

totalling some 1875 acres, When created by Germans early during WWII to operate mainly Messerschmitt Bf 109 fighters and Focke-Wulfe Fw 200 Kondors used against Allied submarines and generally for anti-ship missions. Lann-Bihoué totalled some 3700 acres thet called it " Kerling Bastard " ??? After hostilities ceased, during second part of 1945 the base was re-worked by French Armée de l'Air which transferred it to the Navy, the NAS surface being downed to about 1875 acres. It's during 1951 that first Flotilles installed at Lann-Bihoué, the 11F arriving during 1952-53 with its Lancasters in 1952-53 to receive Neptunes and be renumbered 25F for the occasion.
