I think this interesting close formation picture is not
quite neat according the fact that aircraft was over the
exhaust heat zone of the port Bristol hercules engine of
the N.2501. You clearly see the hot aerodynamical exhaust
flow shape with burned black paint and oxyded aluminium???
This was a quite sure recognition element of a Skyraider
when all other parts of the aircraft were unvisible. A
true trademark...
