remained closed almost during all the two hours flight.
As the " Spad " logged a few hours since
overhaul, oil and exhaust markings on fore parts of
fuselage are slight. When in Algeria, I saw them very
dirty after intensive use and covered also with black
areas due to armament firings. When ferried back from ,
Madagascar, Djibouti or Chad to France for overhaul,
storage, if not the two, they seemed to be pity aircraft...
