In France, a "pilote moustachu " means a quite
excellent pilot. Lieutenant Gardessen is one of them and
really bears a true moustache, an accessory which is
determining to be considered as the perfect man to
control a Skyraider...as were our WWI fighter aces to
pilot their Nieuport Babies and other SPAD VII...
