This one was originally coded 20 LD and, after Algerian operations ceased the unit was disbanded and recreated as EAA 21, the aircraft becoming 21-LY for operations in Chad and Djibouti until 1973. Then unit became EAA 22 for Chad theater and the machine possibly coded 22-DR. Here deprived of its Cyclone engine, all interesing parts are removed before to be sent for scrapping, F-100 in the background awaiting the same treatment or being destined to some Museum or Air Base for exhibit or to be ferried in England to Americans, aircraft being a NATO one |
